Land Motorsport was founded by Wolfgang Land and is now run by his son Christian Land. Based in Niederdreisbach in the Westerwald region, the team has campaigned Audi GT3 machinery since 2016 and built a reputation as one of the most accomplished Audi customer teams in international GT3 racing.
A special chapter in the team’s history is its close relationship with Swiss driver Ricardo Feller, a family friend who became the face of the outfit early on. Together they celebrated overall victory at the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring in 2017, one of the defining achievements in the team’s history.
The partnership with Feller reached its peak in 2021, when he swept three titles in a single season in the Land Audi: the drivers’, teams’ and junior classifications of the ADAC GT Masters. Land Motorsport also enjoyed international success, including overall victory at Petit Le Mans in 2017 and podium finishes at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring.
In 2025, the team made a last-minute leap into the DTM after another Feller project fell through. What began as a spontaneous entry turned into a remarkable debut season: at its home round at the Nürburgring, Land Motorsport celebrated its first-ever DTM podium, followed by another at the season finale in Hockenheim.
For 2026, a decade-long partnership with Audi comes to an end: Land Motorsport switches to Porsche, fielding the 911 GT3 R in its latest evolution of the car that won the championship in 2023 and 2025. The new lead driver is Danish talent Bastian Buus, whose car has been nicknamed “Scarlett” and races in black, red and white.
