Victor Martins

Victor Martins was born in France in 2001 and grew up, like many of his fellow countrymen in motorsport, with karting as his first contact with racing. His talent showed early: as early as 2016, he secured the title of CIK-FIA Junior World Karting Championship, a success that established him as one of the most promising young talents of his generation and laid the foundation for his further path toward formula racing.

After transitioning from karting to formula racing, Martins progressed through the classic European junior series with remarkable consistency. In 2020, he crowned himself champion of the Formula Renault Eurocup, a series traditionally regarded as an important stepping stone for future Formula talent. Two years later, in 2022, the next major milestone of his career followed: winning the FIA Formula 3 Championship. This title confirmed his status as one of the most consistent and fastest drivers in European formula junior racing and opened the door to higher categories of motorsport.

With these two championship titles, the Formula Renault Eurocup 2020 and FIA Formula 3 2022, as well as his early success in the Karting World Championship 2016, Victor Martins ranks among the drivers who have already built an impressive record of success at a young age. These achievements were crucial for his transition into GT3 racing and later into the WEC, where he transferred his formula racing skills into the world of endurance and prototype racing and had to prove himself in a completely new, demanding environment.

In the 2026 season, Victor Martins competes for his current team in the FIA WEC, where he fights with his teammate for points and podium finishes. Following his successful path through the formula junior series, his focus now lies on establishing himself as a mainstay in the World Endurance Championship. The upcoming season represents an important milestone for him to further build his experience and secure a lasting position in the international top class of sports car racing.
