Oliver Jarvis was born in 1986 in Norwich, England, and grew up in a family close to motorsport. Like many British drivers of his generation, he began his career in karting, where he developed technical understanding and racing instinct early on. These years in karts laid the foundation for a consistent rise through junior formula categories, which would eventually lead him into international prototype and GT programs.
After entering formula racing, Jarvis progressed through several levels of junior racing before turning his attention toward endurance racing. There he established himself in GT3 and prototype programs and built a reputation as a versatile, technically proficient driver who could deliver consistent performance in both fast LMP cars and GT vehicles. This career path paved the way for his entry into the FIA World Endurance Championship, where he positioned himself as a permanent fixture in the driver field over the long term.
Throughout his career, Jarvis has accumulated numerous class entries and podium finishes in the FIA WEC as well as at major endurance classics, racing for various factory teams and private teams. His consistency and smooth driving style made him a sought-after pilot in fiercely contested prototype classes, where he repeatedly managed to hold his own among the top drivers. This experience over numerous seasons is considered one of the hallmarks of his career to date.
In the 2026 season, Oliver Jarvis continues his career in the FIA WEC, where he continues to compete at the highest international level for class success.
