Mike Conway

Mike Conway was born on February 26, 1983, in Coventry, England, and grew up in a country whose motorsport tradition shaped him from an early age. Like many British drivers of his generation, he began his career in karting, where he gained his first racing experience and developed his talent for precise, consistent driving, which would later become his trademark.

From there, Conway worked his way up through British and international junior formula series before making the jump into Formula 1-adjacent categories and later into GT and prototype racing. This path eventually led him to the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), where he established himself as one of the most reliable and fastest drivers in the field and became a fixture in factory programs for major manufacturers.

The greatest success of his career to date is winning the WEC Drivers’ World Championship in 2020, a title that impressively underscored his consistency and skill at the highest international level. This success solidified his reputation as one of the most accomplished endurance drivers of his generation and opened the door to further top programs in prototype and GT racing, in which he has since continuously competed for podium finishes and victories.

In the 2026 season, Mike Conway continues to compete in the FIA WEC, where he is again counted among the drivers from whom seasoned observers of the scene expect top results. His goal remains to build on past successes and play a central role in the fight for championship points and class victories, while once again leveraging his knowledge from over a decade of endurance racing experience.
