Martin Berry was born on March 14, 1993 in Bristol and grew up in a family deeply connected to motorsport. As a child, he was already racing karts and gathering his first racing experience on British circuits. The feel for speed and competition was, in a sense, part of his DNA, and his talent for precise and consistent driving—which would later become his trademark—showed early on.
After successful years in karting, Berry moved into formula racing and went through the typical stations of a British junior driver. Via Formula Ford and British Formula 3, he gained important experience in single-seaters before taking the leap into GT racing. In the GT3 category, he quickly established himself and impressed with consistency and a fine feel for tire management, which eventually opened the door to the FIA WEC.
Among the greatest successes of his career so far is Berry’s entry into the FIA WEC in 2019, where he raced for a private GTE team. Particularly memorable was his appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2021, where he and his team achieved a podium finish in the GTE-Am class. The 2023 season, in which he scored several top-5 results in the World Endurance Championship for a renowned customer team, is also considered one of the highlights of his career to date.
In the 2026 season, Martin Berry is competing for an established team in the FIA WEC, where he wants to fight for further class victories together with his teammate. The goal is to build on the strong performances of recent years and position himself in the top group in both the overall standings and at endurance classics like Le Mans. Berry himself repeatedly emphasizes that experience and team spirit in the WEC are particularly important to him in order to consistently race at the front again this season.
