Kévin Estre

Kévin Estre was born in France and, like many of his generation, came to motorsport through karting. His talent in direct competition on tight circuits became apparent early on, enabling him to make the jump into the first formula and GT junior series. This foundation of tactical finesse and racing commitment would later prove to be the cornerstone of one of the most consistent careers in GT and prototype racing.

After his years in the junior categories, Estre’s path led consistently toward GT3 racing, where he quickly established himself as one of the fastest drivers of his generation. The transition from the formula world into manufacturer cups and international GT championships gave him the experience and standing to eventually become a factory driver for Porsche. From there, it was only a small step to the FIA WEC, where he made a name for himself in the top category.

The greatest successes of his career are closely tied to Porsche. Already in the 2018/19 season, Estre secured the WEC drivers’ world championship, a milestone that definitively catapulted him into the ranks of the top drivers in the endurance racing scene. Years later, in 2024, he achieved this success once again, securing the WEC drivers’ world championship for a second time. These two titles underscore his exceptional standing and his ability to remain consistently at the top across various regulation cycles and vehicle generations.

In the 2026 season, Kévin Estre once again competes for Porsche in the FIA WEC and continues to be one of the flagship drivers of the factory program. After two world championship titles, the focus is clearly on continuing the success streak and fighting for further podiums and championship points. For fans and observers of the scene, Estre remains one of the names against which the competition must measure itself in this season as well.
