Julien Andlauer hails from France, where like many drivers of his generation, he cut his teeth in karting. Early on, his talent in handling fast vehicles became evident, making the transition to junior formulas and GT series only a matter of time. This karting foundation laid the groundwork for a career that would eventually take him through numerous stages and into the World Endurance Championship.
Through the standard junior categories in GT and single-seater racing, Andlauer worked his way up step by step. The jump to GT3 machinery marked an important turning point, as he was able to prove his skills there racing against strong international competition. These experiences ultimately paved the way to the FIA WEC, where he established himself as a fixture in the driver field and increasingly took on responsibility within the Porsche family.
Among the greatest achievements of his career so far are multiple outings for Porsche factory teams in the GT sector as well as in the FIA WEC, where he made a name for himself in various classes. In particular, his collaboration with Porsche over several years shaped his career path and brought him valuable experience on the world’s most prestigious race tracks, including classics like Le Mans. These positions solidified his reputation as a reliable and fast factory driver.
In the 2026 season, Julien Andlauer continues to compete for a Porsche team in the FIA WEC. Together with his team, he is pursuing the goal of building on past successes and playing a strong role in the overall standings. The upcoming season offers him the chance to further expand his experience and prove himself once again in a highly competitive field.
