John Farano

John Farano grew up in an environment where motorsport was an integral part of everyday life early on, and like many drivers of his generation, he began his career in kart racing. There he gained his first racing experience, developed his feel for vehicle control and race tactics, and laid the foundation for his later transition to junior formulae in motorsport.

Through various junior series, Farano worked his way up step by step, gaining important experience in different vehicle categories. The methodical development of his career eventually led him to the GT3 category before he made the jump to the prototype classes. This path ultimately brought him into the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), where he had to hold his own among top international teams and experienced driver colleagues.

Farano celebrated his greatest career success so far in 2022, when he secured the title in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in the LMP2 class. This success marked a decisive step in his sporting development and underlined his potential in prototype racing. The experience gained from this championship provided an important foundation for his further journey toward the FIA WEC, where the competition and technical level are even higher.

In the 2026 season, John Farano continues to compete in the FIA WEC, where he and his team face the challenge of building on previous successes and continuing to establish themselves in the highly competitive prototype field. The goal is to use the experience gathered over the past years strategically to consistently race in the front of the standings and fight for podium finishes and class wins throughout the season.
