George Kurtz

George Kurtz is from the USA and, like many of his generation, came to motorsport through karting. At a young age, he demonstrated his talent on national kart tracks and earned the first merits that laid the foundation for his later racing career. The transition from kart racing to formula racing and GT vehicles followed gradually, with a preference for driving GT prototypes and sports cars becoming apparent early on.

Through the classic junior series, Kurtz continuously expanded his driving repertoire. The jump to the GT3 category proved to be a decisive career step, as he was able to hold his own against established competition and position himself for programs at the highest international level. This path ultimately led him to the FIA World Endurance Championship, where endurance racing with its tactical and physical demands became his preferred terrain.

Kurtz celebrated his greatest success to date in 2023 when he secured the title in the GT World Challenge Europe. This championship is regarded as one of the most demanding GT3 series worldwide, and the title victory underscored his ability to perform consistently at the highest level throughout an entire season. The success also confirmed the confidence that had been placed in him and paved the way for further engagements in the international GT and prototype world.

For the 2026 season, George Kurtz is competing again in the FIA WEC, where he aims to further establish himself among the top group of the endurance series. The goal is to build on the form of previous years and deliver consistent results to advance the team throughout the entire season. With his experience from the GT3 world and the growing confidence from previous title fights, Kurtz is among the drivers to watch in the new season.
