Chris Buescher

Christopher William Buescher was born on October 29, 1992, in the United States and found his way to motorsports as a child: At just six years old, he was already racing motorcycles, and at twelve, he won the 2004 national Bandolero championships. Two years later, at age 13, he became the youngest champion of the Pro Division of the Legends Car Series. Starting in 2005, he raced Legends Cars for Speedway Legends in Texas and accumulated over one hundred victories, a foundation that shaped his future path in American stock car racing.

In 2008, Buescher moved to North Carolina, where NASCAR Cup driver David Ragan served as his mentor. Shortly after, he signed as a development driver with Roush Fenway Racing and started in the ARCA Racing Series in 2009. Following a strong rookie season in 2011 with three wins in the final four races, he crowned himself the 2012 ARCA champion, becoming the only driver in series history to not be credited with a single lap down throughout an entire season.

Through additional starts in the Nationwide Series, his path led in 2014 to a full season in the No. 60 Ford for Roush Fenway Racing, where he celebrated his first NASCAR victory in August at Mid-Ohio. In 2015 came the big breakthrough: With wins at Iowa and Dover, Buescher clinched the NASCAR Xfinity Series title. In the Cup Series, he subsequently established himself as a reliable race winner, with victories at Pocono in 2016, Bristol in 2022, and in 2023 at Richmond, Michigan, and Daytona, and in 2024 at Watkins Glen. In 2022, he also won one of the Duels before the Daytona 500, and in 2023 he finished the championship at a career-best seventh place, driving for RFK Racing.

For the 2026 season, Chris Buescher remains a full-time driver for RFK Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series. After years of steady development, from Legends Car champion through the ARCA and Xfinity titles to multiple Cup victories, he enters the new season with a clear goal: to build on the strong results of recent years and once again compete for the Playoffs and top positions in the overall standings.
