Bastian Buus

Bastian Buus was born on 20 June 2003 in Kolding, Denmark. He began his motorsport career in karting, competing in Danish, German and international championships between 2014 and 2019. In 2020 he moved to GT racing with Allied Racing and won the GT4 Pro-Am Cup title at his first attempt in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport.

Racing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland, Buus worked his way up through the Porsche ranks and was selected as a Porsche Junior for 2023 in late 2022. That year he became champion of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, held as part of the Formula 1 support package, with BWT Lechner Racing, while also finishing third in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland.

In May 2024 Buus signed a long-term deal with Porsche Motorsport. A planned 2025 DTM debut with Allied-Racing fell through when the team went insolvent, and in the meantime he gathered further GT3 experience in the GT World Challenge Europe and Asia as well as at the Nürburgring 24 Hours.

2026 marks Buus’s delayed DTM debut with Land-Motorsport, which switches from Audi to Porsche the same year and fields the new Porsche 911 GT3 R, the title-winning car of the 2023 and 2025 seasons. As a child Buus met his idol Tom Kristensen at a race with his father, and now he lines up in the German series himself for the first time.
