Brendon Hartley

Brendon Hartley was born on November 10, 1989, in Palmerston North, New Zealand. Like many New Zealand drivers of his generation, he began his motorsport career in karting before making the jump to the formula categories. His talent behind the wheel was recognized early, opening doors for him that remain closed to many other young overseas drivers.

Through European junior series, Hartley eventually found his way into the World Endurance Championship, where he established himself in the LMP1 category as a consistently fast and reliable driver.
