Anthony Francis Alfredo was born on March 31, 1999, in the USA and is known by the nickname “Fast Pasta.” His fascination with motorsports began in childhood watching television before he climbed into a kart himself. After a several-year break during which he tried other sports, he returned to racing in 2014 and initially competed in Legends Car races. Through a contract with well-known short-track driver Lee Faulk, he gained his first experience in Late Model stock cars and capped this phase in 2016 by winning the Pro Division title of the Southeast Limited Late Model Series, which he secured with one victory, 15 top-five finishes, and 23 top-ten finishes from 26 starts.
In 2017, Alfredo moved to Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s JR Motorsports and competed in the Late Model division of the CARS Tour, where he finished the season in second place behind his teammate Josh Berry and also won the prestigious Fall Brawl race. A year later, he established himself with MDM Motorsports in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, celebrated his first victory at South Boston Speedway, and was named to the “NASCAR Next” development program. In parallel, he gained his first ARCA experience and made his Truck Series debut with DGR-Crosley at the season opener in Atlanta in 2019.
Alfredo celebrated his greatest career successes in the following years: in 2020, he drove the No. 21 Xfinity car for Richard Childress Racing and posted his best result to that point, a third-place finish at Texas Motor Speedway. In 2021, he made the jump to a full NASCAR Cup Series season with Front Row Motorsports and finished second behind Chase Briscoe in the Sunoco Rookie of the Year voting. In 2022, he secured his first career pole position for Our Motorsports at Portland, and in 2023, he made his mark off the racetrack by winning the eNASCAR International iRacing Invitational.
For the 2026 season, Alfredo will drive full-time for Beard Motorsports in the NASCAR Cup Series, where he has previously made part-time starts in the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 with the No. 62. With this full-time ride, he aims to leverage his experience from Xfinity and Truck Series races as well as his role as a simulator test driver at Hendrick Motorsports to establish himself permanently in the upper echelon of the Cup Series.
