Brad Keselowski

Brad Keselowski was born on February 12, 1984, in Rochester Hills, Michigan, and grew up in a true racing family of Polish descent. As the fifth and youngest child of Kay and Bob Keselowski, he spent much of his youth in his father’s race shop, where he first swept, mopped, and mowed the lawn. His uncle Ron and older brother Brian were and are also active in motorsports. At just 14 years old, Keselowski first sat in Quarter Midgets and local Late-Model stock cars in Michigan before officially entering the Factory Stock class in 2000.

His NASCAR career began in 2004 at the age of twenty in the Craftsman Truck Series, when he made his debut in the No. 29 Ford F-150 at the Kroger 250 in Martinsville. Starting in 2005, he ran a full season in the Truck Series before making the jump to the Busch Series in 2007, where he initially drove for Keith Coleman Racing and later for Germain Racing. His continued rise eventually led him to Team Penske, where he became a title contender in both the minor league and Cup Series.

Keselowski celebrated his greatest career successes with Team Penske: In 2010, he secured the NASCAR Nationwide Series title in the No. 22 Dodge Challenger with six victories, and in 2012, he followed that with the Cup Series championship in the No. 2 Dodge Charger, Penske’s first championship in the highest NASCAR class ever. With this, he joined Dale Earnhardt and Jeff Gordon as one of only a few drivers to win the title within their first three full seasons. His signature achievements also include three of the four NASCAR Crown Jewel races, including the Brickyard 400 and the Southern 500 at Darlington in 2018, as well as the Coca-Cola 600 in 2020, plus six victories at Talladega. From 2007 to 2017, he was also owner of Brad Keselowski Racing in the Truck Series, which produced future Cup stars like Ryan Blaney and Tyler Reddick. In 2023, he was inducted into the list of the 75 greatest NASCAR drivers of all time.

In the 2026 season, Keselowski continues as a full-time driver for RFK Racing, a team in which he has also been a co-owner since 2022. In the No. 6 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, he aims to build on past successes and advance the team he helped shape both on the track and as an entrepreneur behind the scenes.
