Jack Harvey

Jack Harvey is a British racing driver whose career originated in karting. Already as a junior, he collected numerous national and international titles, including the 2004 WTP ‘O’ Plate title and the 2006 MSA Super One British Championship in the ICA-J class. In 2007, he achieved his breakthrough on the international stage with the CIK-FIA European Championship title in the KF3 class, complemented by victories at the Italian Open Masters and the Andrea Margutti Trophy. A year later, in 2008, he secured the CIK-FIA Asia-Pacific title in the KF2 class and further solidified his reputation as one of the great British kart talents of his generation.

His transition to formula racing was consistently successful. In 2010, Harvey finished runner-up in the Formula BMW Europe championship with seven wins and thirteen podium finishes, before competing in the 2012 British Formula 3 Championship for Carlin Motorsport. With seven wins and twelve podium finishes, he prevailed against a field that also included future Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz Jr., securing the title. In 2013, he made the leap to the GP3 Series, where as the top rookie with victories at Monza and Silverstone, he finished fifth overall before heading to the United States.

In America, Harvey moved to Indy Lights, the then-junior series for IndyCar. In 2014, he engaged in a close championship battle with Gabby Chaves, which he narrowly lost after four wins in the direct comparison of second-place finishes. In 2015, he repeated this strong performance as runner-up and won the prestigious Freedom 100 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, among other races. He made his debut in the IndyCar Series in 2017 and competed in subsequent years for teams such as Meyer Shank Racing, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, and Dale Coyne Racing. He celebrated his first IndyCar podium finish in 2019 at the IndyCar Grand Prix with a third-place result for Meyer Shank Racing.

In the 2026 season, Jack Harvey will compete as a full-time driver for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, having already gained experience with several renowned teams throughout his IndyCar career. With his combination of kart titles, the British Formula 3 Championship, and strong developmental years in the United States, he brings a solid foundation for the new challenge. For the upcoming season, the goal should be to build on the point-scoring performances of earlier years and deliver regular top finishes for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing.
