Driver

Felix Rosenqvist

Felix Rosenqvist was born on November 7, 1991, in Sweden and is considered one of the most versatile drivers of his generation. After his early karting years, during which he became vice champion of the Nordic Karting Championship in 2005, he switched to formula racing in 2007. His talent showed early on: in 2008, he won Formula Asia 2.0, and a year later he secured both the Swedish and NEZ titles in Formula Renault 2.0, laying the foundation for his continued career.

His path led through the German Formula 3 Championship, where he finished fifth in 2010 for Team Performance Racing, to the Formula 3 Euro Series in 2011 with Mücke Motorsport. There he established himself over several years as one of the strongest drivers in the field, before switching to Prema Powerteam in 2015 and winning the FIA Formula 3 European Championship with 13 victories, 24 podium finishes, and 17 pole positions. After that, Rosenqvist took a new direction: in 2016, he competed in a reduced program in Indy Lights for Belardi Auto Racing with three season victories, and at the same time competed in the GT3 class for AKKA-ASP Team in the Mercedes-AMG GT3. This versatility eventually paved his way back to the USA, where he entered the IndyCar Series in 2019.

Among the greatest successes of his career is the complete F3 Grand Slam: in addition to his championship title in 2015, he won the Macau Grand Prix twice (2014 and 2015), the Masters of Formula 3 also twice (2011 and 2013), and the Grand Prix de Pau. In the IndyCar Series, he was named Rookie of the Year in 2019 and finished the season in sixth place in the overall standings. Beyond open cockpits, he also collected international successes, such as third place in his debut season of Formula E 2016/17 for Mahindra Racing and third place in the Japanese Super Formula 2017. However, Rosenqvist celebrated his greatest triumph to date in 2026 with victory at the Indianapolis 500.

In the 2026 season, Felix Rosenqvist races as a full-time driver for Meyer Shank Racing with Curb-Agajanian in the IndyCar Series, the team with which he already achieved the historic success at the Indianapolis 500. After this milestone, the focus is now on consistency throughout the season to also fight for the front of the overall standings. With his extensive experience from Formula 3, Formula E, Super Formula, and IndyCar, Rosenqvist brings a broad range of competencies that make him one of the most interesting drivers in the field.
