Nicky Catsburg

Nicky Catsburg was born in the Netherlands and, like many drivers of his generation, came to motorsport through karting. From an early age, he demonstrated an extraordinary feel for vehicle balance in Dutch kart championships, which would later establish him as a sought-after factory driver. The transition from small karting circuits to formula and touring car racing was the logical next step for him to establish himself in international motorsport.

Through various junior series in formula and touring car racing, Catsburg worked his way up continuously before making the jump into GT3 racing. There, he increasingly impressed as a consistent and quick driver, which opened the door to factory drives with renowned manufacturers. This experience in high-caliber GT programs ultimately laid the foundation for his commitment to the FIA WEC, where he made a name for himself in the GTE class.

The highlight of his career so far is his driver’s title in the LMGTE Am class of the FIA WEC in 2023. This success underscores Catsburg’s ability to consistently compete at the front even under the enormous competitive pressure of endurance racing and to keep his composure in decisive race situations.
