Reshad de Gérus

Reshad de Gérus was born in Belgium and grew up in an environment where motorsport played an important role from an early age. Like many drivers of his generation, he began his career in karting, where he learned the first fundamentals of racing, tire management, and reading track situations. These years in karts laid the foundation for his later move to formula racing and marked the beginning of a consistent sporting development.

After karting, de Gérus went through the classic junior series, gradually adapting to the international level. Through various formula and GT programs, he gathered the experience that eventually enabled him to make the jump to the GT3 category. The transition from junior formulas to the high-performance GT3 cars required an adjustment to higher vehicle weights and different tire characteristics—a challenge he successfully mastered, which later opened the door to the FIA WEC.

In his career so far, Reshad de Gérus has made a name for himself primarily in the GT3 environment, collecting important credentials before taking the step into the FIA World Endurance Championship. Entry into the WEC represents one of the most significant milestones in his career, as it marks his first time competing against the world’s strongest GT and prototype teams. The experiences from the previous years form the basis on which he now builds in the World Championship.
